Book Week 2026

The 2026 Book week has been a highlight at our school this year. Students, teachers and the admin team joined in with dressing up as their favourite book characters to celebrate this year's theme of "Symphony of Stories". It was wonderful to see all the creative costumes students had created during the parade.

Digi Ed Experience

Some of our very lucky Stage 2 and Stage 3 students had an exciting incursion experience with Digi Ed, diving into the world of stop motion animation using clay. Guided by expert presenters, Steve and Laura, our students collaborated in teams to plan and create their own narratives, build detailed clay characters and bring their stories to life through animation.

This hands-on incursion was a fantastic opportunity for students to engage creatively, enhance their digital literacy, and develop collaboration skills – all while having fun bringing their imaginations to life through stop motion film!

Multi Sport Day

2026 Riverina Ten Pin Bowling Competition

In Term 3 students in our MC specialist support class had a fantastic opportunity to participate against different schools across the Riverina in the 2026 Ten Pin Bowling Competition.

Our students had a fantastic time at bowling and placed 14th across 34 schools in the Riverina.

Early Stage 1

Stage 1

In Stage 1, our focus is on building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while developing confident, curious and independent learners. Students participate in explicit phonics, reading and writing instruction, as well as engaging, hands-on mathematics learning. They also explore science, technology, creative arts, history, geography and PDHPE through meaningful learning experiences. Student wellbeing and safety are at the heart of everything we do, with a strong focus on creating a caring, inclusive and supportive environment where every child feels known, valued and ready to learn. Stage 1 students also have opportunities to participate in sporting events, performances, excursions, cultural celebrations and a variety of whole-school activities that encourage creativity, teamwork and a strong sense of belonging.

Stage 2

In Stage 2, the focus is on deepening students’ understanding and skills across key subject areas while fostering independence, critical thinking, and collaboration. Students engage in targeted literacy and numeracy instruction that builds on foundational skills, with increased emphasis on comprehension, problem-solving, and applying knowledge in real-world contexts. They participate in rich learning opportunities in science, technology, creative arts, history, geography, and PDHPE that encourage inquiry, creativity, and practical application.

Wellbeing and safety remain central, with a continued commitment to nurturing a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels respected, responsible and empowered to take ownership of their learning. There is a strong focus on encouraging respect, responsibility, and resilience through daily interactions and learning experiences. Stage 2 students also enjoy a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sporting competitions, performing arts, excursions and cultural events. These experiences promote teamwork and creativity, while helping students build resilience, develop a sense of responsibility, and foster respectful relationships within a strong and connected school community.
