School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Performances, concerts and school productions

Albury Public students have a range of opportunities to participate in Eisteddfods and school performances throughout the school year.

We support the creative interests of our students. Our drama and art programs help students be creative and express themselves.

At Albury Public School our student have had success whilst competing at local choir eisteddfods.

Sport

Students have the opportunity to participate in PSSA Sport and various sporting activities of different levels throughout the school year.

Albury Public School students have the opportunity to represent APS as part of the Riverina Team for various sports.

Our students have had a successful history of representing Albury Public School at Riverina and state levels. This is one of our current students who has received a Riverina Sportsmanship medal for PSSA Netball.

Excursions and Incursions

All students have the opportunity to participate in a school excursion to enhance their learning experience beyond the classroom.

Student learning and community events

Student learning celebrations provide opportunities for students, parents and carers to get to know our school and students to share their learning with families and friends.

Students at Albury Public School participate in annual fundraising events like our school lap a thon.

As part of our NAIDOC week celebrations our students have created artworks to share in our communal spaces. We welcomed the Stars Foundation students from James Fallon High School who helped our students with fun NAIDOC activities with students throughout the day.

Albury Public School has a long and rich history as part of the Albury Community. Last year Albury Public celebrated 175 years of Albury Public School. Past students and current families were invited to view artworks and letters stored in our 25 year time capsule. Our current 2025 cohort completed letter to be added to the new time capsule.
