Zone Athletics Carnival

For students who qualified at our school carnival.

Please note that 1500m races start at 8:30am. Parents will need to ensure these students are at the venue by 8:30am to be able to compete. They will need to organise their own transportation. They will be supervised at the track by Mrs Lambert.

Venue: Les O'Brien Athletics Precinct - Alexandra Park Albury

Cost: $8.50 (bus & PSSA levy) payable via Sentral.

Travel: After roll call, students will travel by bus with Miss Mundy and Miss Wearne to Les O'Brien Athletics Precinct. If at the conclusion of the carnival parents/carers wish to take their child from the carnival, please ensure that names are marked off with the supervising teachers before leaving the venue. All other students will return to school by bus and be back at school before the early bus bell.

Please note: children are not permitted to travel from the carnival with a parent/carer other than their own unless the appropriate paperwork has been completed and returned to the school office. Please contact the office for further information and paperwork.

Clothing: Students must wear their school sports uniform on the day and must wear shoes when competing. Hats, drink bottles with water and sunblock will be required on the day. Riverina clothing should not be worn. Students should consider bringing or wearing warm clothing for when they are not competing.
