ALBURY PUBLIC SCHOOL PARENTS AND CITIZENS ASSOCIATION invites ALL families at Albury Public School to be involved in the activities of the school.
The P&C Committee meets online on the fourth Tuesday monthly at 7.00pm via Zoom (details in the "Meeting Dates" section)
You don't need to be at all meetings, you don't need to be involved in all activities, you don't need to be a super hero, wonder whiz or fix it guru !!! You just need to be interested in what's happening at Albury Public School and have some time to contribute your ideas, feedback and energy.
The P&C is a place where the wisdom of our local school family can have real and positive impacts on how the school functions. The P&C enables families to have input in how our school is functioning and how best to meet the needs of our school community. FUNDRAISING TEAM
The APS P&C run various fundraising activities and community building events. Our main fundraiser is the Family Fun Fair, run every second year (even number years), and it is greatly looked forward to by the students. It is a really enjoyable experience for all of the generous volunteers who help out in the lead up and on the evening of the event.
We also have a pie drive, a mango drive and sausage sizzles. We run stalls for the children and breakfasts for the parents for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. We also run welcome BBQs, silent auction nights, and various other activities depending on the organisers. We are always looking for enthusiastic people to come up with new ideas to help engage our community and foster connection with he school.
ENVIRONMENT PLANNING TEAM
The P&C's focus for the coming years is to enhance the outdoor environment of the school. Come on board – help plan for and carry out improvements to the school's outdoor environment.
PARENT NETWORK
Incorporating "Class Parent Representative". Be the "Parent Rep" for your child's class.
CANTEEN SUB COMMITTEE
The canteen sub-committee supports our wonderful school canteen. The canteen provides an excellent service to the school community and all profits are channeled back to the school via the P&C.
SCHOOL BAG COORDINATOR
School hats, the polo shirt in the school uniform and APS School bags can be purchased from the school canteen. Again, this allows profits to remain within the school. A parent volunteer coordinates ordering and stock management.
